Phone Call to Butch Harmon Boosts Las Vegas PGA Tour Star Nick Watney
Sometimes, as they say, help is just a phone call away. Such was the case for Las Vegas PGA Tour player and Las Vegas Golf Region resident Nick Watney. Watney made a call to fellow Las Vegas resident and swing coach Butch Harmon, and the conversation helped Watney fire rounds of 65-67 on the weekend and finish in 4th place at the Transitions Championship.

Jack Nicklaus’ Coyote Springs Still a New Gem
In case you haven’t heard, The Chase at Coyote Springs, one of the newest golf layouts on the Las Vegas golf scene, is alive and well. The rise of Coyote Springs out of the dust may have slowed down, but future growth plans are still in place. “We are definitely still moving forward,” says Todd Michaelsen, head golf professional of the nationally-recognized Las Vegas golf layout. “The timeline for the clubhouse and the first model homes is still a couple of years away but we are still moving in the right direction.”
