PALM COAST, Fla. (March 25, 2010) – ‘O’ BEAM (www.obeamputt.com), maker of a laser-based putting training aid, is expanding its sales program by hiring territorial sales representatives throughout the U.S.
“We are pleased to bring these sales representatives to our team,” said Katie O’Keefe, founder, president and CEO of ‘O’ BEAM. “We appreciate the increased interest in our putting aid and look forward to helping golfers of all playing abilities improve their putting strokes with ‘O’BEAM.”
Qualified, experienced sales representatives are invited to inquire about ‘O’ BEAM sales opportunities by contacting Jim Hames, director of sales, at 407-227-7754 or sgcn.jim@gmail.com.
‘O’ BEAM was created in 2008 by O’Keefe, Director of Instruction for Hampton Golf, when she observed that many of her students were experiencing improper setup and excess head movement while putting, preventing them from establishing the foundation for an effective putting stroke. The ‘O’ BEAM allows a player to practice proper setup and reduced head movement, leading to improved putting results.
To practice putting, a player places the ‘O’ BEAM device on the visor portion of his hat. With the power switch in the ON position, the ‘O’ BEAM shoots a laser beam – in the shape of an ‘O’ – that the player positions on the ball. When the player addresses the ball, ‘O’BEAM’s laser allows for the correction of any head movement in order to achieve a smoother and more consistent putting stroke.
Chip Beck, who won four times on the PGA Tour and now plays on the Champions Tour, said, “‘O’ BEAM is the best putting aid I have ever used. It clearly helps you to minimize head movement, which results in more solid putts and lower scores.”
