BALTIMORE, MD. – March 29, 2010 – STX, world-renowned for its patented Soft Face Insert Technology, announced today that the company has added several new sales representatives in highly targeted territories.
Within one year of a re-launching the STX brand, the company has introduced an innovative new line of putters, created an entirely new website, produced both advertising and marketing materials but probably the most important transformation is the new STX sales force.
The company recently hired a talented sales executive Calvin Peete Jr. to lead this group of motivated independent sales representatives. According to Peete, “STX has done a great job providing me with the tools for success. Their artistic and technically superior putters are just the beginning. This group of golf sales executives is going to help STX meet and surpass the company’s sales goals.”
Dean Faucett has been named to work the Southern Texas region and Kraig Kesner will represent STX in Ohio. Maine, New Hampshire, and Eastern Massachusetts are handled by Chris Grimes. Moving toward the south, Adam Brim will be responsible for both Georgia and Alabama. Peter Vanderwarker will grow sales in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Both Christine and Duane Lietzke will work together to represent the mid-west states of Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Kansas. STX’s home state of Maryland and Virginia will be serviced by Larry Charles Douglas. The states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana all will be taken care of by John Walker.
“Calvin and this new group of sales reps are already building relationships at retail as well as opening new accounts,” said Director of Golf at STX, Steve Henneman. “We’re all excited to see our new putters ship into retail and into the hands of the consumer.”
