New technology to benefit golf club manufacturers and professional clubfitters worldwide
Ontario, Canada – March 29, 2010 – Interactive Sports Technologies Inc., the makers of High Definition Golf™, continues its technology leadership in the golf simulator industry with the release of a new shaft flex module for golf club manufacturers and professional clubfitters.
This new module uses advanced computer vision technology to make a comprehensive series of highly accurate shaft measurements in “real-time.” As a result, club manufacturers and clubfitters will be able to let
their customers test and compare a variety of golf clubs and shafts with new confidence. The system in turn will generate a detailed report that can be viewed on screen, printed or emailed to the customer for their
personal records.
This cost-effective module is easy-to-use and integrates seamlessly into the HDG simulator and provides an extensive series of measurements that were never before available. The shaft flex module will measure overall shaft flex, shaft flex profile, club head acceleration, position of maximum club head speed, angle of attack and load factor.
