SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that Golf Pride grips were played by the majority of golfers in both the Nationwide Tour Chitimacha Open and the LPGA Tour Kia Classic last week.
According to data compiled by the authoritative Darrell Survey Company, Golf Pride grips were used by 90 percent of all players competing in the Nationwide Tour Chitimacha Open, held in Lafayette, Louisiana, and 83 percent of all players at the LPGA Tour Kia Classic held in Carlsbad, California.
The Nationwide Tour Chitimacha Open saw 129 of the 144 players compete with Golf Pride grips, including 91 playing the Tour Velvet® model and 14 using the colorful New Decade™ MultiCompound model. At the LPGA Tour Kia Classic, 120 of the 144 players in the field used golf pride grips, with 73 trusting the Tour Velvet, and 20 competing with the New Decade MultiCompound.
