Tseng wins second LPGA Tour career major using Speedline woods and Idea hybrids and irons
PLANO, TEXAS, April 6, 2010 – Adams Golf staff member Yani Tseng captured the sixth title of her professional career with a 4-under 68 in the fourth round to win the 2010 Kraft Nabisco Championship. Tseng’s final-day charge included an eagle at the par-5 second and a birdie at the par-4 third that propelled her to the top of the leaderboard and secured the one-stroke victory. The win was the second in a row at the Kraft Nabisco Championship for Adams Golf LPGA Staff members, with Brittany Lincicome taking home the trophy in 2009.
En route to victory, Tseng played the Adams Golf Speedline 9032LS driver (9.5 degree), two Speedline fairway woods (3, 5), two Idea a7 hybrids (19 and 22 degrees) and Idea a4 irons (4-PW).
“Yani’s win at the Kraft Nabisco Championship was so much fun to watch,” said Scott Blevins, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Adams Golf. “The way she held on to the lead with her club selection and shot making was truly inspiring. We expect that Yani will continue her stellar play this year and that what you are seeing right now is only the beginning.”
Tseng’s win at the 2010 Kraft Nabisco Championship is her second major victory on the LPGA Tour since joining in 2008. Tseng won her first major at the 2008 McDonald’s LPGA Championship and followed that up with a win at the 2009 LPGA Corning Classic. She also won the 2010 HANDA Australian Women’s Open on the Ladies European Tour Earlier in March.
