SAN DIEGO, CA. – Heritage Golf Group is pleased to announce that Nate Matejek, Assistant Golf Professional at TPC Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan, was recently elected into Class A Membership of the PGA of America. To become a Class A Member of the PGA, you must be employed in the golf industry for 12 months, pass a playing-abilities test, go through a professional-readiness orientation and pay all PGA apprentice fees.

Matejek has more than 10 years of experience in the golf industry. He currently holds the position of Assistant Golf Professional at TPC Michigan and was previously in the same role at Greystone Golf Club in Romeo, MI. Matejek’s extensive tournament experience includes working as Tournament Director for the TPC Michigan Nature Valley Amateur Tournament in 2008 and 2009, as well as assisting the Royal & Ancient Club of St. Andrews to host the 2008 American International British Open Qualifier. As an instructor, Matejek has worked for the Asher Golf Program, a USGA supported program, and has assisted with the 2008 Area Wide Junior Clinic hosted by Dennis Walters.
