(VIENNA, VA) — Buffalo Communications — the global golf-lifestyle public relations, branding and marketing-communications firm that is a division of Billy Casper Golf — has named Gary Trask and Jonathan Williamson as Public Relations Specialists.
Focusing on select Buffalo golf resort, destination and real-estate clients, Trask and Williamson will develop and execute strategic media-outreach initiatives. These result in sales-influencing editorial coverage in golf and lifestyle; national and regional; consumer and trade; and print, electronic and social-networking outlets.
A 20-year veteran of golf and related media, Trask was Editor-in-Chief of North Shore Golf and instrumental launching and growing the magazine’s print and e-mail platforms as go-to sources for golf information in New England. Trask also regularly contributed editorial to top-tier national and regional publications and websites. Most recently, he was Senior Editor at Casino City Press.
Williamson previously served as Evening News Producer for the NBC-TV affiliate in Washington, DC. His broad golf knowledge, branding and writing acumen will position Buffalo clients as “must haves” to relevant media audiences.
The addition of Trask and Williamson is part of Buffalo’s substantial resources commitment to ensure its infrastructure continues to help clients sharply increase their brand awareness, popularity and revenues. Buffalo recently bolstered its information-technology team to expand client presence in digital and social media.
“We are extremely diligent acquiring highly-talented individuals to join the Buffalo team,” says Rich Katz, Managing Director of Buffalo. “Gary Trask and Jonathan Williamson will greatly benefit clients, notably golf and country clubs, five-star resorts and spas, master-planned communities and tourism agencies.”
