(CARMEL, CA. April 20, 2010) The Shivas Irons Society announced today that the public is invited to participate in its 18th Anniversary Celebration Tournament at TPC San Francisco Bay at Stonebrae in Hayward, CA.
On Monday, May 24, 2010 the Society will hold its annual fundraiser at this award-winning David McLay Kidd championship layout etched into the rugged hillside high above San Francisco’s East Bay. The course has recently hosted the Nationwide Tour’s Fresh Express Classic.
The premise for the day, as with all Shivas Irons Society events, is to provide more than great golf and wonderful camaraderie at an outstanding venue… The Society wishes to explore possibilities for learning and awareness that can serve us in our lives as well as our golf games. Fred Shoemaker and Bill Condaxis of Extraordinary Golf® will be on hand to host a dynamic and interactive sampling of their special and unique approach to coaching.
Included for the $250 fee for the day are 18 holes of golf with cart, box lunch, BBQ buffet dinner, prizes, special pre-golf presentation, post-golf entertainment and a silent auction. A portion of the fee is taxdeductible.
“This is more than just a charity golf event…,” says Society president Steve Cohen, “…it is a fun, educational opportunity to engage with like-minded golfers who value all facets of the game.”
