Course now features redesign and new SofTrak Commercial synthetic greens and tees
Harmony Links Golf (www.harmonylinksgolf.com ), the leader in “Delivering Next Generation Golf Today” and City of La Harpe’s Lamoine Valley Golf Course today announced the 2010 Grand Re-Opening featuring SofTrak Commercial synthetic greens and tees designed and installed by Harmony Links Golf.
To celebrate the event, Lamoine Valley Golf Course will host an 18-hole tournament, scheduled for May 8th. Barry Wright, President of the City’s Parks and Recreation Board said, “The people who have played Lamoine Valley Golf Course before the re-opening have been amazed at how the greens receive shots and putt. Those that have not yet played can’t wait. This will be a great tournament for our community.”
The 4-week Harmony Links Golf Renovation Advantage project included Harmony Links’ redesign, project management, construction, renovation and synthetic turf installation on the 2,568-yard, 9-hole Lamoine Valley Golf Course’s sand greens and tee boxes in western IL.
Terry LaGree, award-winning golf course architect, redesigned the greens and surrounding tie-ins.

We knew the redesigns before they started, but no one could believe the transformation of holes like our #4 until we saw them. It is breathtaking. Parks and Recreation departments that face budget issues and are continually trying to maintain quality greens really need to look at this alternative.
