PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (May 5, 2010) – Due to its nomadic nature, the GolfTalk Live radio show seldom gets to spend two Saturdays in a row from the same general vicinity. But thanks to the great allure of the Sandhills of North Carolina, GolfTalk Live will have Carolina on Its Mind for two consecutive Saturdays.
The first Saturday, May 8, is from the spectacular Tobacco Road GC in Sanford, North Carolina. Created by the late Mike Strantz, the course was intended to both visually intimidate and inspire the golfer.
The second Saturday, May 15, is from Pinehurst Resort, home to this year’s International Network of Golf annual spring conference, May 9 to 13. A preview of that conference will be given by ING executive director Mike Jamison during the first show. A review of the conference, complete with many interviews, will take place during the second show.
“This is a rare chance to take an up-close and personal look at golf in North Carolina’s hallowed Sandhills,” said Tony Leodora, host of GolfTalk Live. “So much will be happening over this eight-day trip that we should have about three hours for each show.”
