RIP Helps “the hottest shafts in golf’ dominate wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on PGA and Nationwide Tours

POWAY, Calif. – The winner of the BMW Charity Pro-Am notched his second career win on the Nationwide Tour with the help of Aldila’s NV in his hybrid club. He finished with a final round 66 to win by two strokes and earn a first-place check of $108,000.
“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” also dominated the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Valero Texas Open and at the BMW Charity Pro-Am to easily maintain their status as the #1 Shaft on Tour, according to the Darrell Survey.
One of the primary reasons Aldila continues to dominate the wood and hybrid shaft counts on the PGA and Nationwide Tours each week is primarily due to the number of players who have been switching to Aldila’s leading shaft, the RIP.
“RIP is Aldila’s most recent shaft technology that provides a lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The RIP is in high demand across the PGA and Nationwide Tours and will be released soon through some of the major OEM’s product lines.”
Not only are Tour players trusting the RIP in their wood and hybrid clubs, but Aldila’s latest technology is also being relied on by Tour pros in an increasing number of their Drivers.
In fact, the most accurate driver on the PGA Tour uses the RIP in his Driver and leads the Tour with a Driving Accuracy rating of 74.54 percent, well ahead of the Tour’s 61.35 percent average. Not only is the RIP deadly accurate, but it is also deadly long as the Tour’s second longest driver uses the RIP in his Driver and currently holds a driving distance average of 302.5 yards, which far exceeds the Tour’s 281.5 yard average.
Aldila has the unique ability to fuse high-end design with cutting edge technology. They are continually on the leading edge of the golf world through their relentless pursuit of the next best innovation.
