Maker of world’s first-ever 3D doppler tracking device for golf, FlightScope® signs 3-year agreement
ORLANDO, FL (May 24, 2010) — FlightScope®, which earlier this year became the first ball flight launch monitor for golf to offer a wireless system (the FlightScope® Prime) has entered into a 3-year partnership with the Professional Golfers’ Association of Alberta.
The main focus of the partnership will concentrate on the two Consumer Golf Shows at the PGA of Alberta’s Lesson Area, where more than 200 lessons are provided to golfers who attend the shows in Edmonton and Calgary. Overall, more than 5,000 people will attend the shows. The majority of the attendees are CPGA Instructors, and the Consumer Golf Shows in each city will provide FlightScope® an ideal setting to help golf instructors better understand the benefits to using such technology in their daily lesson structure.
Additionally, FlightScope® will Co-Sponsor the PGA of Alberta Pro Senior Tournament later this year (August 31, 2010). The Pro Senior is a 60-team, 2-player Pro Am; and will again provide teaching professionals and golfers an opportunity to see how ball flight monitors, particularly the FlightScope® Prime, can help golfers improve their game.
