Phoenix, AZ, May 12, 2010 – Ahwatukee Country Club, The Lakes at Ahwatukee, Club West Golf Club and The Dukes at Rancho El Dorado have decided to build on their green initiatives and carry the Dixon Earth golf ball.
“We were intrigued by the green aspect of the ball,” General Manager Terry Duggan said referring to the renewability of the golf ball itself.
The Dixon Earth is the only ball that is capable of being recycled, but it still plays as well or better than its competition.
“We also like the recycling promotions Dixon Golf has, as well as their involvement in community based organizations,” continued Duggan.
This opportunity increases exposure for Dixon’s product offerings in their own back yard. Pro shops around the state are starting to notice a spiked demand for the Earth conscious golf balls. Many courses are realizing that an eco-friendly golf ball does not me a subpar ball, and based on those merits are carrying more of Dixon’s products.
“Adding these four great locations is important to us. It’s on of our goals to be in every pro shop in Arizona, and we’re excited to work with these courses,” said William Carey of Dixon Golf.
