Fort Worth, TX – Escalante Golf, Inc., a boutique ownership and management company based in Fort Worth, Texas, announced that it now has ten clubs in its expanding portfolio. Escalante has acquired several properties the past 24 months and was recently awarded the management contract for Orchard Ridge Country Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
“This is an exciting and challenging time to be in the golf business. Many clubs are seeking out professional management companies who have a proven track record in turning clubs around and managing through adversity. Escalante Golf has been in business since 1991 and we have developed a solid reputation for meeting and exceeding the financial objectives of our clubs,” said David McDonald, president of Escalante Golf, Inc.
The Company has acquired a number of courses over the past two years including the Country Club of the North in Beavercreek, Ohio, The Crosby National in Rancho Santa Fe, California and the Raven at Three Peaks in Silverthorne, Colorado. In addition, it was awarded a number of high-profile management contracts including The Old American just north of Dallas, Texas and Orchard Ridge in Indiana.
“We have been able to acquire some very high profile properties that fit well with our long-term business strategy. Our goal is not to become the largest ownership or management company, but to selectively target key properties that we can manage for growth. On the management side, golf course owners are aware of our ability to drive revenues and control costs during this downturn. It is truly an exciting time for Escalante as we continue to expand,” said McDonald.
