FlightScope® rapidly becoming the most dominant ball flight launch monitor in golf to educate club fitters on the benefits of launch monitors in club fitting
ORLANDO, FL (May 21, 2010) – FlightScope®, the world’s first-ever 3D Doppler-Radar Tracking Device for golf, has signed on with PGA Magazine to sponsor the first-ever PGA Professional National Club Fitting Conference. The conference has been created to educate club fitters on the importance of custom club fitting, and to increase the number of PGA Members and facilities that offer comprehensive fitting programs.
FlightScope®, which has also just introduced the world’s first-ever wireless ball flight launch monitor: http://www.flightscope.com/index.php/FlightScope-Prime/flightscope-prime.html, is a perfect system to demonstrate how beneficial custom club fitting is, and how such a system can help increase a club fitters revenue stream.
“We’re excited to have FlightScope® as part of the inaugural PGA Professional National Clubfitting Conference,” said PGA Magazine Publisher Kirk Pagenkopf. “FlightScope’s state of the art 3D Doppler Tracking technology makes it an essential piece of equipment for many PGA Professionals. and we’re proud to have an innovative industry leader as part of this conference.”
“FlightScope® has rapidly earned its position as a must-have for club fitters, as a result of its accuracy and repeatability,” said FlightScope® President Henri Johnson. “During the National Club Fitters conference, FlightScope® will have on display another world’s first, namely high speed camera integration using 3D Doppler Tracking Radar. This will provide intimate details of the club, as well as the golfer through impact, augmented by the accurate 3D Doppler Radar measurements from FlightScope® that could be seen together with the high speed video.”
The PGA Professional National Club Fitting Conference has also been created to stress how vital club fitting is to the success of PGA Professionals as they try to maintain their positions as the experts in the business and the game of golf.
Upwards of 120 leaders in custom club fitting from all 41 sections of the PGA of America are expected to attend the conference which will take place on October. Once the date and site are determined, FlightScope® will publish all of the information.
