Corning, CA- Sevillano Links at Rolling Hills Casino Resort will host its 3rd Annual Girls Club: Golf Fore a Cause Clinic on Sat., June 26, 2010. Women 18 years of age and older, will participate in a golf clinic from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (registration at 8:30 a.m.) at the impressive range and practice center at Sevillano Links (directly behind the Rolling Hills Casino at I-5 in Corning, CA).

The clinic is designed for women who want to learn the fundamentals of golf in a fun and festive environment. Former golfers returning to the sport are also encouraged to attend. Held in conjunction with Play Golf America and its American Express Women’s Golf Month, PGA teaching pros will provide instruction on all aspects of the game-long and short game, chipping and putting. “This clinic is ideal for women interested in taking up the game,” states PGA General Manager Brian Dahmer. “At last year’s event we introduced more than 200 enthusiastic participants to the game of golf and we are well-prepared to do it again this year.”

Attendees will receive Precept Lady iQ golf balls, a ball mark repair tool courtesy of GCSAA’s Nor Cal Chapter, sunscreen lotion supplied by Sun SafeTee, course etiquette tips plus information about golf-related opportunities available through Sevillano Links and the Pacific Women’s Golf Association (PWGA). Attendees will also enjoy on-site boutiquing; everything from golf activewear and accessories to fashion and beauty products, plus health and wellness services too. “Our goal is to provide a memorable experience for each participant,” states Kate Grissom, Event Founder and Director of Marketing for the Rolling Hills Casino Resort. “It’s an event designed to be fun and informative, a place for women to network and celebrate, while raising funds for Girls Inc., a worthy community cause.”

For $45.00 attendees will receive a full clinic experience, scrumptious lunch, goodie bag, and a pair of Paula Creamer Collection sunglasses by Sundog Eyewear.
