Alexandria, VA – June 17, 2010 – The Club Managers Association of America announced today that it has named eight new Certified Club Managers. By achieving the CCM designation, these club managers are recognized for their expertise in and commitment to the club industry.
“Professional development is the keystone to the evolution of our industry,” said CMAA CEO Jim Singerling, CCM, CEC. “I commend these individuals for walking the walk by achieving this designation, which can only by earned by hardworking, dedicated individuals. I have given them my sincerest congratulations.”
The CCM designation has been the hallmark of professionalism in club management since 1965 and is the cornerstone of CMAA’s member recognition program. It is a valuable and widely-respected mark of a manager’s commitment to professional development and the club industry. Achieving the designation requires an eligible club manager pass the CCM exam. To become eligible to take the CCM exam, a club manager must meet a number of requirements designed to demonstrate superior experience and knowledge in the field.
