Led by BLACK WIDOW® Cleat, Softspikes Dominates Leaderboard at 2010 U.S. Open; Softspikes Also Wins at the Nationwide Tour’s Fort Smith Classic
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., June 21, 2010 … Softspikes®, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand and maker of the #1 Cleat on TOUR, captured the Company’s 53rd Major win this weekend, as BLACK WIDOW®, golf’s best selling cleat of all-time, claimed victory at the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, while 7 of the top 12 finishers wore Softspikes-made cleats, according to the Independent Darrell Survey.
In other tour news, Softspikes captured a victory at the Nationwide Tour’s Fort Smith Classic, where 27 of the top 39 finishers donned Softspikes cleats. Additionally, 7 of the top 8 finishers wore Softspikes at the 2010 ShopRite LPGA Classic.
