Marlborough, MA – On the PGA Tour, the excitement of a sudden-death playoff led to a first time victory for this weekend’s winner. Another PGA Tour win for CHAMP spikes brings the total of 2010 tour wins to 17. Along with the winner CHAMP spikes were worn by 5 of the top ten finishers.
Across the pond as his home team England fought against Germany for their place in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the results were more favorable for England in golf. The winner of the Munich BMW Championship came from behind to claim his first title wearing CHAMP spikes joined by 67% of the field. An impressing 7 of the top ten finishers also fought for the title wearing CHAMP spikes.
At the LPGA Championship, it was again CHAMP spikes worn by the winner. This win moves her to the top spot on the latest Rolex Rankings. The winner wore the popular ScorpionSTINGER™ spike along with 4 of her closest competitors.
Finally to round things out, Nannette Hill a Duramed Futures Tour rookie won her first event wearing CHAMP spikes outlasting the rest of the field in gusting winds for a two-shot victory.
