‘The hottest shafts in golf’ dominates wood; hybrid shaft counts on PGA & Nationwide tours
POWAY, Calif. – For the third consecutive week players using Aldila shafts have finished first and second on the PGA or Nationwide Tours. After a one, two finish at the U.S. Open on the PGA Tour last week and at the St. Jude Classic the week prior, “The Hottest Shafts in Golf” finished first, second and third this week at the Mexico Open Bicentenary on the Nationwide Tour.
Using Aldila’s VS Proto™ the winner of the Mexico Open Bicentenary captured his first win on the Nationwide Tour. The rookie finished regulation with a 12-under 276 (65-71-72-68) and went on to win on the first playoff hole. He jumped from number 10 to number 2 on the Nationwide Tour Money List.
Using Aldila’s NV Proto™, the second place finisher posted his best finish of the season and tied his best finish on the Nationwide Tour. The third place finisher played Aldila’s Serrano in his Driver and their DVS in his hybrid club.

They captured the hybrid shaft count winning by a 2 to 1 margin over the next leading shaft manufacturer.
