PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (June 28, 2010) – The GolfTalk Live radio show, voted No. 1 Golf Radio Show in America by the International Network of Golf, will be providing extra coverage during the week of the AT & T National at Aronimink Golf Club.
The highlight of the week will be the live remote broadcast from Aronimink GC on Saturday morning, 7 to 8 a.m., as the players prepare to play the third round of the tournament. In addition to show host Tony Leodora, Tore Fiore, executive director of the Brandywine Conference and Visitors Bureau, will provide insight into the impact of the tournament on the local community. He also will supply some suggestions of side trips for golf fans who will be attending the event.
Starting Tuesday, June 29, Tony Leodora, also an award-winning golf writer, will provide a daily story that will run in the Blog section of the GolfTalk Live website, www.golftalklive.net. Leodora’s colorful writing style and ability to dig up offbeat stories is certain to make this daily feature a don’t-miss portion of the AT & T coverage.
“This is Philly’s tournament, at least for two years, and golf fans need to get the Philly slant on it,” says Leodora. “It all starts with the daily Blogs and builds up to the live broadcast on Saturday. Then we will wrap it up with the final coverage on Sunday and a report card for the event on Monday.”
GolfTalk Live airs 52 weeks a year from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on WNTP 990-AM and on www.wntp.com. It also can be heard any time during the week after the show airs, by going to the website, www.golftalklive.net.
