Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf Classic announces three Honorees for 2019 Outing in The Hamptons
(Westhampton, New York – March 18, 2019) – The 21st Annual Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf Classic, which will be held on Thursday, June 20th, at prestigious Westhampton Country Club, in Westhampton, N.Y., is pleased to announce their three honorees:
The 2019 Music Honoree is Steve Azar, hit songwriter with three chart-topping #1 music videos, “I Don’t Have to Be Me ’til Monday,’ one of the top 5 most-played country songs since the year 2000; recording artist, talk show host, music producer, philanthropist and golfer, is the MUSIC HONOREE.
The 2019 Business Honoree is Robert Bicocchi, Senior Property Manager with CBRE, providing leadership for a team of Property Management professionals in New York City, which includes large administration properties, Corporate Headquarters, Data Center and Trading Floor locations, totaling over 2.8 million square feet for the Bank of America account.
The 2019 Sports Legend Honoreeis Lesley Visser, CBS Sportscaster, first woman enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the first woman assigned to a Super Bowl Sideline, the only sportscaster, male or female to have worked on the Network Broadcast of the Final Four, The Super Bowl, the World Series, The NBA Finals, The Triple Crown, The Olympics, the US Open and the World Figure Skating Championship, is the 2019 SPORTS LEGEND HONOREE.
Passionate golfers are familiar with historic Westhampton Country Club, a sea-side links designed by legendary golf architect Seth Raynor in 1915 and restored to its original design in the last decade by Gil Hanse.
The annual charity tournament benefits organizations that focus on cancer prevention, research and care, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation and KIDS NEED MORE. The charity tournament also supports several mentorship programs for women in sports including the Association for Women in Sports Media (AWSM) Champions Mentorship Program and the New York Women in Communications (NY-WICI) Ann Liguori Foundation Sports Media Scholarship.
Liguori, the first female to host a sports call-in show on WFAN-NY with her weekly, ‘Hey Liguori, What’s the Story,’show that aired for over 25 years, is also an original host on The Golf Channel, in addition to being the Host, Executive Producer, Owner of the long-running Sports Innerviewcable and radio series. Ann will be covering The Masters for her 21stconsecutive time, for WFAN and CBS Sports Radio Network, this April.
