Rio Verde, Ariz. (March 1, 2024) –Rio Verde Country Club recently hosted 20 women’s collegiate teams from across the country for the 21st annual Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational. The three-day competition saw Cal-Baptist capture the team championship, holding off both 2023 champion Xavier and Illinois State by 5 strokes. Illinois State graduate student Ali Shrock took the top honors in the individual competition with rounds of 72-69-70 to finish with a total of 211. The tournament, which was hosted in conjunction with Western Michigan University, was played on Rio Verde’s par-72 Quail Run Golf Course at 6,044 yards.

Golfers were served multiple meals and enjoyed the hospitality.
