‘The Hottest Shafts In Golf’ sweeps shaft manufacturer counts at AT&T National
POWAY, Calif. – The winner and second place finisher at the 43rd PGA Professional National Championship in French Lick, Ind. both relied on the enhanced power, consistent flex and precise feel of Aldila’s exclusive Micro Laminate Technology™ found in Aldila’s NV and VS Proto shafts.
The winner played Aldila’s NV® shaft in his 3 Wood and VS Proto™ in his hybrid club to help capture his record-tying third title. The second place finisher also played their NV in his hybrid club.
Aldila was definitely the shaft of choice at the PGA Professional National Championship. They won the wood shaft manufacturer count with an unrivaled 237 wood shafts in play and captured the hybrid count by having 71 more hybrid shafts in play than the next leading shaft manufacturer, according to the Darrell Survey.
“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” also retained its status as the #1 shaft on Tour by sweeping the shaft manufacturer counts at the AT&T National on the PGA Tour winning the driver, wood, and hybrid shaft counts. Aldila dominated the wood shaft count by having 37 more of their wood shafts in play than the next leading competitor.
Aldila’s number one shaft, the VooDoo®, was in the driver of the Most Accurate Driver at the AT&T National. He finished with an average of 76.79 percent, which was well ahead of the field average of 59.41 percent.
“The VooDoo’s patent-pending S-core Technology™ is designed to maximize distance and provide outstanding accuracy,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The real ‘magic’ is the high modulus carbon stabilization rib running the length of the shaft. The innovative rib structure keeps the shaft more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing. The Aldila VooDoo simply helps generate consistently straight and long shots – with feel competitor shafts can’t match.”
Aldila is the leading name in graphite golf shafts: It won golf’s Grand Slam in 2009, being the most used wood and hybrid shafts at every Major on the PGA Tour. For two years it has been the most played wood and hybrid shaft at every FedEx Cup Playoff event. Are you playing Aldila or just graphite?
