Coveted spot in the most elite foursome in golf up for grabs at St. Andrews

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla., – It was a graphic display at just how hard it is to qualify for the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, which Tom Watson was on the verge of doing at last year’s British Open. Had Watson made that short par putt on Turnberry’s 18th hole, his sixth British Open title would have clinched his first berth in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf since 1982.
