(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Innovative Sports Ventures announces the addition of Dr. Mindy Clark to the firm as a Partner as well as its Executive Director of Golf Medicine. Dr. Clark will also serve a key role on ISV’s Managing Board. Co-Founders and Managing Partners, Tim Ummel and Chris Homrich, feel very fortunate to add someone as talented as Dr. Clark to their team.

In addition, Dr. Clark will oversee the growth of the firm’s focus on technology and performance in the world of sports. She is a physician and entrepreneur with over thirty years experience in executive health care administration. She has had a broad entrepreneurial career path having played a principal role in spearheading the planning, opening, and directing of large medical organizations with a continued focus on the world of sports. “I have a sincere passion for the opportunities that lie ahead in the combined space of sports and technology,” says Dr. Clark, “what we are working on at ISV as it pertains to 2D & 3D motion capture for all sports is truly exciting. I am now with a team that can truly make a global difference in this space.”
In 2007, Dr. Clark decided to combine her passion for medicine, golf, and physical fitness by expanding her knowledge of Pilates as well as golf swing mechanics. She spent one year in Italy achieving certification as a Pilates instructor before embarking on a multi-faceted two-year certification process with the Titleist Performance Institute (T.P.I.). She is one of only six individuals globally to achieve the Master Instructor level of accreditation, having completed certification as a Level 3 Medical Professional, Level 3 Fitness Professional, Level 3 Junior Professional, Level 3 Golf Professional, and Level 2 Golf Biomechanics.
