Engaging, Interactive Design Highlights Distinct Advantages of Heavy Putter, Heavy Wedge Lines
(RIDGEFIELD, CT) – Boccieri Golf announces the redesign of www.boccierigolf.com, incorporating a new look and broad array of enhanced features to showcase the proven science, theory and technology behind its innovative, award-winning Heavy Putter and Heavy Wedge lines.
Coinciding with the launch of the company’s multi-faceted “Control Freak” marketing campaign, the site includes videos of players explaining how their scores significantly improved when using Boccieri Golf products. In addition to these testimonials, Stephen Boccieri – inventor of the Heavy Putter and Heavy Wedge – is shown discussing the advanced design principals behind his line’s superior on-course performance.
The new site also provides a forum for players to submit their own photos and videos, with those selected as “Control Freaks” featured on the homepage and given special offers on future purchases. Additional elements of the site include a complete product catalogue, dealer locator, schedule of events, TOUR updates, news, a company history and media section.
“The new website is going to be a great tool for us to further inform consumers, retailers and international distributors about the incredible performance of our products,” says Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “For years, we’ve simply been known as a manufacturer of premium putters. But as we continue to expand into other categories, such as the new Heavy Wedge, we felt it was important to revamp the site to better fit our brand’s evolving image.”
Introduced earlier this year, the Heavy Wedge is a traditionally designed blade with a head mass only slightly heavier than a conventional wedge. The added weight (65 grams) is positioned in the butt of the shaft, raising the club’s balance point nearly 40 percent, promoting distance control, an improved swing path, tighter shot dispersion, acceleration through impact, smoother tempo and unparalleled feel. It is available in a variety of lofts including 52 (eight degree bounce), 56 (11 degree bounce) and 60 (four and seven degrees of bounce).
Also new for 2010 is the Heavy Putter LITE-WEIGHT Series and various models in the MID-WEIGHT and HEAVY-WEIGHT lines. They are available in a black PVD, with select styles showcasing a silver satin finish. All feature the company’s innovative system of added weight within the head and grip. This causes the body to engage its larger muscles for a consistent swing path, uniform pace, precise distance and directional control, as well as tightening end-over-end golf ball roll. The new styles and weighting options provide a putter for every preference.

The different weighting schemes for each series are:
• LITE-WEIGHT Series – Total weight: 600 grams; head/back weight: 375/65 grams
• MID-WEIGHT Series – Total weight: 750 grams; head/back weight: 400/200 grams
• HEAVY-WEIGHT Series – Total weight: 900 grams; head/back weight: 465/250 grams
