July 14, 2010

(VIENNA, VA) – Buffalo Communications – the global golf-lifestyle public relations, branding and marketing-communications firm that is a division of Billy Casper Golf – has promoted David Griffith to PR Manager.

Previously PR Specialist for two years, Griffith’s contributions helped Buffalo expand several client relationships. His oversight of Buffalo’s teams of writers and story “pitchers” continues to yield sales-generating consumer and trade publicity for clients in national and regional print, broadcast and online media.

Griffith’s specialty is positioning men’s and women’s golf, lifestyle and fashion soft-good products as “must haves” to relevant media audiences. Prior to joining Buffalo, Griffith worked in PR for seven years, most recently managing media relations for three offices of a top-15 international law firm.

“David’s intelligence, connections and deep understanding of the soft goods and media landscape make him a valuable member of our team,” says Rich Katz, Managing Director of Buffalo. “Clients, journalists and colleagues all appreciate his drive to consistently secure editorial coverage about our partners.”

The promotion of Griffith is Buffalo’s fourth managerial ascension the past six months. This parallels the firm committing substantial resources to its human capital, technology and growing presence in digital and social media. Keen attention to infrastructure supports Buffalo’s roughly 95 percent client retention rate.
