Earns Honor of Returning to Mission Hills for 2011 Faldo Series Asia Grand Final
(SHENZHEN, China) — Mission Hills China — developer of the world’s largest golf club and impetus for China’s golf boom – announces Thailand’s Koravit Kwok Pak Him booked a place in the 2011 Faldo Series Asia Grand Final by winning the overall title in the series’ China Championship at Mission Hills Shenzhen.
Courtesy of an opening-day one-under-par 71, Koravit, entered in the boys’ Under 21 category, trailed Peng Jie of Chinese Taipei by two shots after the opening round. However, the Thai fired a superb second-round three-under-par 69 to post a 36-hole aggregate of four-under-par 140 over Mission Hills’ Faldo Course to take the title.
Peng added an even-par 72 on the second day to finish second overall and win the girls’ Under 21 division.
Both players now have the opportunity to return to Mission Hills, the ‘Home of the Faldo Series Asia,’ for the 2011 Grand Final, an R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking event hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at the world’s largest golf club.
In addition, the winners in each of three other age divisions also booked their places in next year’s Grand Final:

Under 21 Girls Peng Jie (Chinese Taipei)
Under 18 Boys Shao Yong Liang (China)
Under 16 Boys Yan Si Huang (Macau)
