Fine Tune Golf announces that 10 of the top 15 finishers requested RoboCup for their practice
With putting being 46% (or more) of golf shots on the score card, the pros put a lot more emphasis on practicing this part of their game. At the British Open, their scores prove it. More than 200 PGA Professionals have requested the RoboCup for their practice, including the top six finishers and 10 of the top 15 British Open Leaderboard. This proves the RoboCup to be a beneficial training aid among the top golf professionals.
The RoboCup saves practice time, golfers’ backs and brings the fun back into putting.
“There is an old adage ‘If you can’t putt straight – you can’t putt,” says RoboCup inventor Keith Foley. Foley says that when watching the pros on the practice green during tour practice days, they are seen practicing the same putts over and over again. “They are grooving their putting stroke to be consistent, just as they do their full shots on the range,” Foley says.
The RoboCup was created to help avid golfers refine their putting game. It offers annual indoor and outdoor usage, with batteries lasting for more than 12,000 putt returns. Designed exclusively for serious golfers, RoboCup is the only ball return creation designed to work on every green with a practice or full-depth cup. When a putt drops into the hole, its innovative design automatically shoots the ball right back. The invention runs on 4 AA batteries and will return the ball up to 14 feet or more, depending on green speed. RoboCup is accompanied by the Caddy Cord, so that even missed putts are fired back. MSRP: $59.95 (with Caddy Cord)
RoboCup continues to receive great attention from green grass, off-course retailers, teaching pros, and distributors (domestic/international). For more information surrounding RoboCup, or other Fine Tune Golf creations, including the G-Clip and Line-M-Up, visit: www.finetunegolf.com.
