“The hottest shafts in golf” win wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on PGA and Nationwide tours
POWAY, Calif. – Aldila’s S-core Technology™ featured in their VooDoo® shaft series helped turn in a very successful weekend on the PGA and Nationwide Tours. The winners of the Reno-Tahoe Open and the Chiquita Classic as well as the second place finisher at the British Open all benefited from the accuracy, stability and increased distance found in the VooDoo.
The VooDoo shaft was also in the driver of the Most Accurate Driver at the Reno-Tahoe Open. He used the VooDoo NV in his Driver to finish with a 92.86 percent average easily surpassing the Field’s average of 78.2 percent.
“VooDoo shafts feature patent-pending S-core (stabilized core) Technology™ that prevents the energy-wasting deformation that other shafts experience during the golf swing through the use of an innovative, internal carbon-fiber rib system that runs the length of the shaft,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The VooDoo’s consistent shaft symmetry throughout the swing helps catapult the ball further and straighter than conventional shafts. The VooDoo simply helps generate consistently straight and long shots – with feel competitor shafts can’t match.”
“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” remained red hot across the Tour winning the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Reno-Tahoe Open on the PGA Tour and at the Chiquita Classic on the Nationwide Tour, according to the Darrell Survey. Aldila also won the hybrid shaft manufacturer count at the British Open by nearly a 2 to 1 margin over the next leading competitor to retain its status as the #1 shaft on Tour.
Aldila is the leading name in graphite golf shafts: It won golf’s Grand Slam in 2009, being the most used wood and hybrid shafts at every Major on the PGA Tour. For two years it has been the most played wood and hybrid shaft at every FedEx Cup Playoff event. Are you playing Aldila or just graphite?
