Black Widow® Grips Earn Top 15 Place Finish At British Open

Bold, high-performance grip line continues to gain momentum as top 15 place finisher at the British Open played Black Widow Tour Silk grips this past weekend


BRENTWOOD, Tenn., July 20, 2010 … Softspikes®, the world’s leading golf cleat brand and the #1 Cleat on Tour, today announced that BLACK WIDOW® Grips, the bold and innovative new line of golf grips, made a big statement at the British Open, as this weekend’s top 15 place finisher played with the Tour Silk model on his entire set of clubs.
The new BLACK WIDOW® Grips line, which has received rave reviews since debuting at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show, continues to succeed on both the PGA TOUR and the Nationwide Tour, with top players achieving success with the grips in competition. Suggested retail price for the BLACK WIDOW® Grips, which arrived at on-course green grass stores nationwide in early April, vary from $3.99 to $9.39 per grip depending on the model.
