(July 13, 2010 – Coral Springs, FL) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the program that offers golf fans a chance to caddie for a day for charity with the world’s best golfers, is working with the Blue Angels Foundation (BAF) for their 10th Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament. The BAF golf tournament will be held at the prestigious Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.

Utilizing 25 years of experience as a PGA Professional, as well as nearly 20 years of work on the PGA TOUR, Caddy For A Cure CEO and program founder, Russ Holden will be assisting in all facets of the BAF event. A PGA TOUR caddie opportunity will be offered by Caddy For A Cure as part of the fundraising activities. Many past Blue Angel team members will be playing in the field at this extremely private and exclusive club. The Blue Angels foundation will direct proceeds from the event to their college scholarships program for Blue Angels family members, as well as to the Warrior Foundation at the Naval Hospital in San Diego (www.warriorfoundation.com).

Retired Rear Admiral and former #1 Pilot for the Blue Angels, Denny Wisely, commented, “We are thrilled to be able to have Caddy For A Cure assisting us with this event. Their experience and record with providing incredible golf experiences is unparalleled, as is their heart for helping others. Our mission with the Blue Angels Foundation mirrors the Caddy For A Cure mission and we are looking forward to a great event.”

Russ Holden of Caddy For A Cure added, “I am thrilled to be involved with this group of heroes of our U.S. Navy. My father instilled in me a love for flying and for the Navy Blue Angels that has remained strong throughout the years. While I have worked with the best in the world of golf for many years, to be able to work with these men and women who are the best of the best in aviation and service to our country is simply over the top for me. We will be taking all of the experience we have learned from the PGA TOUR and making this one-day event one of the best events in the world, consistent with the reputation of the Blue Angels.”

The BAF Golf Tournament is open to the public. Information regarding participation and sponsorship of this elite event can be viewed at www.blueangelfoundation.org. Space is limited, so act quickly.
