TEMPE, AZ July, 26 2010 – Dixon Golf will sponsor T-Off For Taylor, a golf tournament to benefit the American Liver Foundation. Jeff Rockwell is the tournament organizer, who put the tournament together to honor his two-year-old daughter, Taylor Rockwell, who suffering from a rare liver disease.
“Taylor Rockwell is an active, 2-year old who brings a smile to everyone’s face she meets. She loves playing with her brother & sister, and has never ceased to amaze us with her strength and determination. Her smile lights up a room! Looking at her you would never guess that she is battling a rare liver disease known as biliary atresia,” says tournament organizer, Shannon Rockwell.
“Dixon Golf is proud to sponsor such a worthwhile tournament. Our only hope is that the money raised from this tournament will help to put an end to liver disease,” says Dixon Golf CEO William Carey.
The tournament will be held on August 14, 2010 and starts at 11:15 a.m. at Thorn Apple Country Club in Galloway, Ohio. The cost is $60 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and lunch. All proceeds will go to the ALF. Registration for the event ends on August 1, 2010.
