The Senior British Open champion played Graphite Design’s Purple Ice shafts in his driver and three wood. He shot a 1-over 72 at Carnoustie to finish at 5-under 279 and capture his first Champions Tour major title. His victory moved him into the number one position in Charles Schwab Cup standings for 2010.
The winner of the PGA RBC Canadian Open played a Graphite Design YS+ 6 shaft in his three-wood. He shot a 3-under 67 on Sunday to claim his fourth PGA Tour victory. Four other finishers who tied for fourth played Graphite Design shafts in their drivers. One of these finishers also played Graphite Design shafts in his three-wood and hybrid, while another played a Graphite Design shaft in his three-wood.
The LPGA Evian Masters Champion played a Graphite Design Tour AD EV 5 shaft in her driver and Tour AD shafts in her irons. She finished with a 14-under 274 to win by a stroke and reclaim the top spot in the Rolex Rankings. In addition, two finishers who tied for second place played Graphite Design YS+ 6 shafts in their hybrid clubs and a finisher who tied for ninth played Graphite Design Tour AD MD 5 shafts in her three and seven-woods.
The winner of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational played a Graphite Design Tour AD shaft in his hybrid club. He shot a 10-under 274 to claim his first victory in nearly seven years and move him to No. 6 on the money list with 13 tournaments to go in the 2010 season.
