The company also captured a 6th and 8th place finish at the Evian Masters and two 4th place finishes at the Canadian Open
IRVINE, CA – July 25, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, proudly announced that the company’s victory list continues to grow with their most recent LPGA victory at the 2010 Evian Masters in France.
This international win marks another impressive win for FOURTEEN GOLF but more importantly it is her first 2010 LPGA victory for this gifted golfer. She also made history being the first South Korean to have EVER captured the Evian Masters Championship.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “What a weekend! Another victory for FOURTEEN GOLF and four Top-10 finishes. What I find interesting is that we are known as a wedge company but the champion plays three of our fairway woods, the Top-10 finishes are credited with playing a mixture of FOURTEEN GOLF equipment; the TC-550 Forged Irons, our Tour Utility Irons, and the highly popular MT-28 V5 as well as some prototypes we are testing. I am really pleased how our Tour program is evolving.”
This remarkable win in France is this Professional’s sixth LPGA career victory. Her ability to stay tough during the pressure moments is what keeps her at the top of the Rolex Rankings. In addition to the Evian Masters water celebration, two LPGA Professionals used FOURTEEN GOLF to clinch a solid 6th place finish and a 8th place finish.
The PGA Tour continues to cultivate exposure and success for FOURTEEN GOLF. At the RBC Canadian Open, two PGA Professionals who prefer and play FOURTEEN GOLF equipment tied for 4th place with a -10 under par 270. They both are enjoying an incredibly successful 2010 PGA season.
“Talk about being on a roll! This PGA Professional has earned his second Top-5 finish of the season in his last three starts. His talent combined with our wedge had him ranked #1 in sand saves for the event. Kudos to him.” added Kamoda.
His colleague and fellow PGA Professional secured his seventh Top-10 finish and moved up on the Fed Ex list to just 508 points behind Ernie Els. It is also his 26th career Top-10 finish.
