MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Designed on tour to produce maximum distance and accuracy, Project X shafts garnered wins at The Greenbrier Classic on the PGA Tour and the Irish Open on the European Tour. This weekend’s winner of The Greenbrier Classic played Project X shafts in his irons and became only the fifth PGA TOUR player to reach the low-round record of 59. He carded nine birdies and an eagle in his final round to earn the 31st win of the year on the PGA Tour for shafts designed and manufactured by True Temper Sports.
Playing the new Project X graphite shafts in his driver and 3-wood and Dynamic Gold shafts in his irons, the Irish Open champion averaged drives of 308 yards en route to a tournament record-tying score of 266.
