On a bright Saturday morning in early July, seven year old Gabriel Young Colboch showed up at the Ken McDonald Golf Course in Tempe with his dad Larry Colboch. At the end of the day, Gabriel became the first person to win a JGAA (Junior Golf Arizona Association) tournament using the Dixon Earth golf ball.

Gabriel was paired up with five other golfers his age and won the golf tournament by shooting a three over 16 at the Ken McDonald Golf Course in Tempe, Arizona. The Competition consisted of three holes at a distance of 160 yards each. Gabriel beat out the competition by three strokes.

Gabriel is a member of the JGAA and competes on the Dream Team at the Western Skies Golf Club in Gilbert, Arizona. Western Skies’ Dream Team is coached by Mike Arrogoni, from whom Gabriel takes private lessons once a week. The Dream Team is a collection of the club’s best golfers in each age category who practices together twice a week. The kids and their competitors know it is quite an honor to be on the team.
