West Chicago, IL – Mike O’Barsky, Infiniti Golf custom fitter, is headed to the ReMax World Long Drive Championship regional competition in Conneaut Lake, PA this weekend to attempt to qualify for the Championship finals in four divisions. It is a feat that has never been accomplished before, and O’Barsky’s club of choice for this endeavor is the Infiniti xMOI driver.
O’Barsky, of Espen Golf, previously qualified for the World Long Drive Championships in the grand champion and senior categories and will attempt to qualify in the open and super senior divisions using the Infiniti Golf xMOI driver. This weekend’s competition will be held at Oakland Beach Golf Club and if successful, will make O’Barsky the first person ever to advance to the Championship finals in Mesquite, Nevada in four divisions.
Scott Ionno will also be trying for a position at the Championship finals this weekend using an xMOI driver. Ionno won the 2006 Pinnacle Long Drive Championship and qualified for the 2007and 2008 Horse Power Tee Shot Tour, where he finished in second and third place respectfully.
