PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (August 5, 2010) – Inside Golf, the award-winning weekly golf magazine-style television show on Comcast SportsNet, has dedicated the entire month of August to Golf in the Pocono Mountains, beginning with the debut show on Sunday, August 8.
To kickoff this special month of programming on Inside Golf, the GolfTalk Live radio show will be doing a live remote broadcast from Pocono Mountain Resort on Saturday, August 7.
Inside Golf, hosted by Harry Donahue and co-hosted by Colleen Wolfe, will spend four full weeks visiting the great golf courses, resorts and attractions throughout the Pocono Mountains. The month of shows was coordinated through the Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau.
Among the golf courses highlighted by Inside Golf are Hideaway Hills, Jack Frost National, Mountain Manor, Pocono Manor, Buck Hill, Shawnee and Woodloch Springs. Of course, there is much more to the Pocono Mountains than just great golf and the month of shows also will highlight attractions such as The Crossings outlet shopping, Penn’s Peak concert hall, Lake Wallenpaupack boat tours, Mountain Creek Riding Stable, Camelbeach and a huge assortment of unique shops, great restaurants and rustic resorts.
On the GolfTalk Live radio show Carl Wilgus, executive director of the Pocono Mountains Vacation Bureau will serve as co-host. Greg Wall, executive director of Pocono Manor; Lisa Green, director of sales and marketing at the Inn at Pocono Manor and Tony Farda, owner of Hideaway Hills, will be featured guests.
GolfTalk Live airs 52 weeks a year from 7 to 8 a.m. each Saturday on WNTP 990-AM and on www.wntp.com. It also can be heard any time during the week after the show airs, by going to the website, www.golftalklive.net.
The Inside Golf television show airs four times a week on Comcast SportsNet – 5:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, 4:30 p.m. on Mondays and 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The show also can be seen anytime by using the On Demand feature on Comcast digital cable.
