Full Swing Golf is proud to announce its partnership with Southwest Greens, producer of the finest putting greens and turf innovations in the golf industry. In an effort to maintain its position as the most realistic golf simulator experience, and to create the most realistic playing surface on an indoor golf simulator, Full Swing spent a year researching and testing the latest in artificial grass surfaces from a variety of potential vendors.
Every hitting surface presented to the company went through a rigorous testing process that focused in on several key factors, including playability, strength and longevity of the fibers, appearance, variable surface compositions, realistic feel, and a battery of tests involving the physics side of golf. Often known for its patented tracking system, breathtaking 3D environments, and extensive course library, Full Swing Golf answered a need to improve every aspect of the indoor golf environment.
“The hitting surface has a major effect on the physics of the golf ball and club head paths,” says Director of Operations, Brian Rick. “We felt it was essential to spend time looking at how the ball, club head, and grass interact with one another and how that affects ball flight behavior. In our research, we managed to find an artificial turf solution that mimics the different frictions created by grasses outside. We are very happy with our choice in Southwest Greens.”
VP of Sales, Brian Brown adds, “Stepping onto the surface, you immediately feel the difference. Short of creating a divot, it very closely resembles the true outdoor experience.”
The new relationship between the two companies also seemed natural, as they share a common goal in the golf industry to constantly stay at the forefront of innovation and provide a superior client experience.
“Southwest Greens has always been recognized in the synthetic turf industry as the leader in product development and customer service,” states Southwest Greens President, Kyle Ehman, “so naturally we are interested in partnering with companies who possess those same characteristics and have an industry-wide positive reputation. One of the most appealing qualities about Full Swing Golf is their ability to create and grow long-term relationships with both suppliers and customers. We are also aware of their passion for delivering high quality, durable products. In that respect, we are proud to participate in those core values by providing the best hitting mat available to the Full Swing Golf clientele. For years, I’ve noticed Full Swing Golf in all the right places – attending the best events, aiding the top instructors and retail establishments, and now partnering with the leader in synthetic turf innovation. It’s a perfect fit. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to work together with another leader in its industry.”
Full Swing Golf begins shipping its new turf solution to clients in August.
