NEW BEDFORD, Mass., Aug. 5, 2010 – AHEAD announced today that it will support Patriot Golf Day, Sept. 3-6, for the third straight year with its limited edition caps. AHEAD has committed to donate $2.50 for every cap sold to the Folds of Honor Foundation.
“AHEAD and our sales team really believe in the mission to support our fallen heroes families and are working hard promoting this program,” said Jeff Waller, national sales director, AHEAD. “Our accounts have been very supportive of this program over the last couple of years and we feel this year will be even stronger. The Folds of Honor Foundation is a great cause and together we are making a little difference in the lives of our military families.”
AHEAD has donated more than $25,000 to the foundation through the cap promotion.
AHEAD will offer three limited-edition logo caps for Patriot Golf Day. The three logos available on the front of the cap are the F-16 Viper fighter jet logo, the Patriot Golf Day logo, and the Folds of Honor Foundation logo. Each cap has the Folds of Honor Foundation words or Patriot Golf Day embroidered on the back. The caps are available in three pre-pack styles of 18 caps, 6 of three different patriotic colors. The AHEAD limited edition caps are available at participating Patriot Golf Day courses or online at www.patriotgolfday.com for a suggested retail of $19.95.

PGA Professional Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, is the founder of the Folds of Honor Foundation. He has served three tours in Iraq. The Folds of Honor Scholarship Fund provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military service members disabled or killed in the line of duty. Since the foundation’s inception, they have raised more than $5 million dollars.
