Tiger Not the Favorite at PGA Championship So Mickelson Is the Man
Tiger Woods hasn’t lost his number one spot in the World Golf Rankings, but he has lost the confidence of the Las Vegas PGA Tour golf betting experts. Woods, for the first time this decade, is not the betting favorite heading into a PGA Tour event in which he was playing. That honor goes to Phil Mickelson, who is at 12/1 to win the PGA Championship, while Woods was with Rory McIlroy at 15/1. Woods was initially released at 10/1 but his odds were raised just a few short hours later by Las Vegas golf betting odds expert Jeff Sherman.

Las Vegas’ Bill Lunder Wins PGA Tour’s Turning Stone Resort Champ.
It’s cliche to call this a “Cinderella Story” a la Carl Spackler in Caddyshack. But this story has that feel, even though over the years Las Vegas resident Bill Lunde has proven himself to be a darn good player. But now that he has earned his first official PGA Tour victory, winning the Turning Stone Resort Championship, he has gone from PGA Tour salesperson to PGA Tour champion in a few short years. But this win probably just proves that Lunde had the game to win at this level all along, his road was just a bit more traveled.
