LUCIE, Fla. – The golf industry’s newest educational facility, Keiser University’s new College of Golf announces it is hosting an exciting Open House event so golf enthusiasts can learn more about turning their passion into a rewarding career. Guests will enjoy refreshments and experience first hand the university’s state-of-the-practice facility; test their swing with video analysis or play a hole on the golf simulator. “The new KU College of Golf facility is unlike any I’ve seen,” said Ben Fowler of the National Golf Foundation. “Their attention to detail and commitment to providing sophisticated monitors and swing analysis equipment really enhances the students’ learning experience.”
The College of Golf recently began holding classes for their Associate of Science in Golf Management Program in a 20,000-square-foot facility that includes a 1,500-square-foot indoor putting green, advanced launch monitor technology, TaylorMade MAT-T swing analysis system, an interactive golf simulator provided by ForeGolf powered by SIRGUL, and a golf club repair lab.
Keiser University’s College of Golf also features a 4,000-square-feet indoor training area that includes sophisticated practice technology, video systems, launch monitors, 3D swing analysis and much more. The acclaimed PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance is also accessible to students for practicing on a 35-acre lighted practice range, short game areas, bunker facility, and extensive putting green complex.
The College of Golf at Keiser University’s Associate of Science degree with a major in Golf Management prepares students for a variety of positions in the golf industry, from golf courses to professional golf schools.
