Marlborough, MA – CHAMP Spikes, the #1 Brand on Tour, adds another win to a stellar record on the Duramed Futures Tour. Jennifer Song survived a two- hole playoff to become the winner of the Greater Richmond Golf Classic, a critical tournament for players trying to advance to the 2011 LPGA Tour.
The end of the season is well known as the “Race for the Card” as players finishing in the top 10 at the conclusion of the tournament season will earn membership on the 2011 LPGA Tour. Jennifer Song placed fourth in the “Race for the Card” with this win.
Additionally, the Duramed Futures Tour approaches the end of the annual “Last CHAMP Standing” competition The event enters it’s last week as the final four advance to the 18-hole championship round played in Albany, N.Y. the last week of August. The winner will collect a chase price of $2500.
