Florida-based magazine honored for publishing excellence
ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 16, 2010) – Golfweek magazine – the most authentic, authoritative and independent voice in golf – received four awards at the Florida Magazine Association’s (FMA) 2010 Charlie Awards. This year’s honors, which were presented at Friday’s awards gala in Orlando, Fla., continue more than a decade of the FMA’s recognition of Golfweek’s publishing merit.
Chosen from more than 670 entries across the state of Florida, Golfweek’s 2010 FMA awards are as follows:
Writing Excellence
• Silver Award: Best Column (Consumer 50,000 Plus) – Jeff Rude
• Silver Award: Best In-Depth Reporting (Consumer 50,000 Plus) ÌâåÂ- “Inside the LPGA,” Beth Ann Baldry and Gene Yasuda
Design Excellence
• Silver Award: Best Illustration (Consumer 50,000 Plus) – “Tiger & Santa,” Roger Schillerstrom
• Bronze Award: Best House Ad – “Golfweek’s Serious Golfer Campaign,” Golfweek Marketing Team
