SANFORD, FL – RIFE Putters chalked up another victory on the PGA CHAMPIONS TOUR on Sunday at the Jeld-Wen Tradition in Oregon.
The winner used a Barbados from RIFE Putters as he recorded his sixth Champions Tour victory, and his third major with that putter. He closed with a 3-under-par 69, to win by one shot. The key blow in the final round was a 15-foot birdie putt on the 16th hole.
The Jeld-Wen champion averaged an outstanding 1.688 putts per greens in regulation. He shot rounds of 68-69-70-69 to earn the first-place prize of $392,000. He used this same RIFE model to win the U.S. Senior Open title in 2009.
Week in and week out dozens of players on the PGA, Champions, Nationwide and LPGA Tours rely on RIFE’s RollGrooveTM Technology to make their living. None of these professional golfers are paid an endorsement fee to put the RIFE product in their bags. They choose to play RIFE models for one reason – they work.
About RIFE Putters
All of RIFE’s Putters are high-end CNC milled putters that offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter Ì¢?å¬face.”
Other companies are now have attempted to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf, regardless of where you hit the ball on the putter face.
