August 26, 2010 Philadelphia, PA — The award winning GolfTalk Live radio show will be an active participant on a number of levels when the 27th annual Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship comes to Myrtle Beach next week.
Live remote broadcasts from Long Bay Golf Club on Saturday, August 28 and TPC Myrtle Beach on Saturday, September 4 will bookend the week of competition in the world’s largest golf tournament. Interviews from the Know Your Score prostate cancer charity tournament, which precedes the World Am, and competition throughout the week of the championship will be featured.
Tony Leodora, host of GolfTalk Live, will be one of the 3,600 competitors at the World Am. His daily blogs will chronicle the action and relay the anecdotes of the week beginning Monday, August 30. “I’m taking my game out in public again, with all of its warts, pimples, and ugly blemishes,” admitted Leodora. It’s my annual exercise in self humiliation but no matter how painful, it always seems to be a week full of humorous stories.” To read these daily stories from the World Amateur Handicap Championship, go to www.golftalklive.net and hit the blog button.
