Golfers Everywhere Now Have Easy Access to Book Reservations to Play at Four San Antonio-Area Courses Through Golf Channel’s National Online Tee-Time Platform
Aug. 30, 2010 – Four San Antonio-area courses are now offering golfers the chance to book exclusive tee times through Golf Channel’s online platform, GolfNow.com. Brackenridge Park, Cedar Creek Municipal Golf Course, The Club at ConCan, and Olympia Hills Golf and Conference Center are joining more than 2,200 golf courses across the United States, such as elite tournament venues like TPC Sawgrass and PGA National, using GolfNow.com, a web-based service which allows users to easily search for and book their tee times online.
Using leading-edge technology, GolfNow.com offers golfers more ways to stay connected to their favorite courses and tee times through the web, e-mail and an upcoming mobile feature. Golfers can simply go online 24/7, select one of the San Antonio-area courses – or choose another course from the list of hundreds – pick a tee time deal that fits their schedule and budget, and book it.
“Golf Channel continues to focus on developing innovative ways to further the game of golf and make golf courses across the country more accessible to the active recreational golfer through initiatives like our online tee-time booking service,” said Gene Pizzolato, chief operating officer for Golf Channel New Media Ventures. “We are very happy with the opportunity that GolfNow.com presents and excited to be adding these San Antonio-area courses to the service.”
Among the new course selections, Brackenridge Park was the first inductee into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame and was host to the PGA Winter Tour. It is located near the heart of San Antonio and is the oldest of six municipal courses. Brackenridge Park was the original site of the Texas Open Golf Tournament from 1922 up until 1959.
GolfNow.com offers access to golf courses from 41 states and is partnered with more than 2,200 courses across the U.S. and Canada. Through easy-to-implement solutions that sell tee times to golfers, GolfNow.com has created a platform that helps thousands of golf courses sell more rounds, increase revenues and, in turn, helps to grow the game.
